En este artículo, revisaremos 3 documentos que son fundamentales para la realización de investigaciones en salud: la Declaración Universal sobre Bioética de la UNESCO, las Directrices éticas internacionales para investigaciones relacionadas con la salud que involucran a seres humanos de la CIOMS, y la Declaración de Helsinki de la AMM. Estos documentos pretenden ofrecer una guía sobre los aspectos éticos que deben tenerse en cuenta para llevar a cabo estudios que involucren seres humanos.
