Information For Authors

The Revista UniNorte de Medicina y Ciencias de la Salud welcomes original, unpublished contributions in the health sciences, with external double-blind peer review.

It operates under diamond open access (no APCs). Authors retain copyright and works are distributed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International — CC BY 4.0.

The journal publishes three issues per year with continuous publication within each period (No. 1: January–April; No. 2: May–August; No. 3: September–December). Accepted articles appear online when production is complete and are assigned to the issue matching their publication date.

Before submitting:

• Check the journal’s aim and scope and the author guidelines.
• Complete the submission checklist.
• Provide ORCID iDs for all co-authors.
• Meet ethical requirements (Helsinki, informed consent where applicable) and use the Vancouver reference style (with DOI when available).
