Information For Librarians

Research librarians are invited to include the Revista UniNorte de Medicina y Ciencias de la Salud in electronic resource catalogues, link resolvers, and institutional repositories.

Interoperability

  • The journal is a diamond open access publication that uses the OAI-PMH protocol for automated metadata harvesting.
  • OAI base URL: https://revistas.uninorte.edu.py/index.php/medicina/oai
  • Articles are described with structured metadata (e.g. Dublin Core) that support indexing and discovery.
  • Each published article receives a DOI (current platform prefix Zenodo 10.5281).

Without prejudice to future inclusions, the journal is listed or discoverable in, among others:

  • Latindex — Directory (record 29779); Catalogue 2.0 pending evaluation according to the public record

All content is distributed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International — CC BY 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0), allowing reuse in reading lists and institutional repositories with appropriate attribution of authorship and source.

Preservation

LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, and the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) are enabled in OJS. Each article also has a DOI with Zenodo deposit. Public galley formats are PDF and EPUB. See About the Journal for detail.
