Evaluación de los riesgos ergonómicos en trabajadores de mecánica automotriz y su relación con el dolor musculoesquelético

Resumen

Introducción: Los trastornos musculoesqueléticos son causa frecuente de ausentismo y limitación funcional en trabajadores con alta demanda física, incluidos los mecánicos automotrices. El objetivo fue analizar los riesgos ergonómicos en trabajadores de mecánica automotriz y su relación con el dolor musculoesquelético (septiembre–noviembre de 2025).

Materiales y métodos: Estudio correlacional, no experimental y cuantitativo. Se aplicó OWAS y el Cuestionario de Screening de Örebro a 30 trabajadores de talleres de Asunción y Gran Asunción (muestreo por conveniencia).

Resultados: Edad media 33,68 años (DE ±10; 23–62). Dolor más frecuente: lumbar 30 %, hombro y espalda alta 20 % cada una. Dolor >1 año 43 %; sin días perdidos 40 %. Predominio OWAS categoría 4 (riesgo muy alto). Örebro: dolor lumbar crónico de intensidad moderada, baja discapacidad, sin kinesiofobia y alta satisfacción laboral.

Conclusiones: Hay disociación entre elevado riesgo postural y baja discapacidad percibida, compatible con adaptación o presentismo laboral y riesgo latente si no se corrige la ergonomía.
