Evaluación funcional en personas con síndrome de hombro doloroso en el Hospital del Trauma Dr. Manuel Giagni

Introducción: El síndrome de hombro doloroso es una causa frecuente de consulta musculoesquelética y afecta la funcionalidad y la calidad de vida. El objetivo fue evaluar la funcionalidad y el dolor limitante en personas con síndrome de hombro doloroso del Hospital del Trauma Dr. Manuel Giagni, mediante QuickDASH, antes y después de fisioterapia.
Materiales y métodos: Estudio observacional, descriptivo, no experimental y longitudinal, cuantitativo. Se evaluó a 20 pacientes con QuickDASH al inicio y tras 10 sesiones de tratamiento fisio-kinésico.
Resultados: Femenino 70 %; 52–60 años 40 %; miembro dominante derecho 90 %. Consulta a los 2–3 meses del dolor 50 %. Pretratamiento: discapacidad AVD 47 %, dolor 46 %, AVL 63 %. Postratamiento: 28 %, 20 % y 44 %, respectivamente.
Conclusiones: El síndrome genera limitación funcional relevante; el tratamiento fisio-kinésico redujo el dolor y mejoró la funcionalidad en esta muestra.
